Reviving from the old

The childhood days,
the curtain drapes
frocks and dresses
made from my grand ma's laces.
walking through the pavements
the old trunk at the corner
was like the fresh rain
on the memory lane
the trunk with all the nostalgic moments
my grandma's evening romances
& mom's morning dews
the freshly polished rexin smell
revived the trunk from the olden hues

Journey

I opened my eyes,
to the world outside
on the day of 27th may.
I dont remember how it felt,
how my mother smelt;
I see the glitter
I see the glimpse of me as a child
In my parents eyes;
My didi's hand clutching mine
to make sure that I am always fine.
As I try to remember
the journey of my life,
from infant to the adult side;
I see the change in me
and the world outside,
except for the people
who have given me life.

sweet illusions and virtual reality

Sweet illusions and virtual reality

Blaring music and bitter liquid
Weeds wrapped in paper
Turning to ashes and then smoke,
Looking through what no one sees
Making meaning out of things that no one cares for
Tasting insanity
Experiencing the bitter sweetness of addiction
Exploring the depths of poison
Watching life turn into smoke,
Feeling the ecstasy,
Floating to a whimsical world
I feel insecurity,Sweet illusions and virtual reality
